To… get this… JAY-Z.<br /><br />Let us explain. <br /><br />The rap star now wants everyone to know him as JAY-Z… which means every letter must be capitalized and the hyphen between the Y and the Z is back.<br /><br />Yep, that’s the world we’re living in.<br /><br />Born Shawn Carter, he had been known at Jay-Z since his earliest songs in the late 80’s… claiming it was a nod to his rap mentor Jaz-O.<br /><br />In 2013 he dropped the hyphen.<br /><br />And in recent promo material for his upcoming album, his name was JAY:Z with a colon in lieu of a hyphen.<br /><br />But his Twitter handle is still Mr. Carter…<br /><br />And we still have to consider that he just became a father again… so some people are gonna call him daddy.<br /><br />Yep, it sounds like it’s gonna be hard to keep up with.<br />
