Michelle Carter Found Guilty Of Manslaughter In Texting Suicide Case

<p>Michelle Carter, 20, has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter by a Massachusetts judge for the 2014 death of her boyfriend, Conrad Roy III.</p><br /><p>Roy poisoned himself by inhaling carbon monoxide in his car after Michelle sent him a series of disturbing text messages urging Roy, 18, to take his own life. Michelle could now send up to 20 years in prison for the crime.</p><br /><p>The prosecutors built their case largely on the hundreds of text messages sent by Michelle to Conrad encouraging him to commit suicide and berating him for chickening out a few times.
