Knock knock, Johnny Depp... It's a visit from the secret service.<br /><br />Or at least that's probably what's going to happen to the actor now that he reportedly asked a crowd at the Cinemageddon festival in the U.K. How long it's been since "an actor assassinated a president."<br /><br />Yeesh... But Depp immediately realized that making public statements about killing President Donald Trump is not a smart move.<br /><br />According to New York Post's Page Six, Depp said "I want to qualify, I am not an actor. I lie for a living. However, it's been a while and maybe it is time."<br /><br />Depp is referring to the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln by the actor, John Wilkes Booth.<br /><br />Depp attempted to cover his tracks saying "It is just a question, I am not insinuating anything... By the way, this is going to be in the press. It will be horrible. I like how you are all a part of it."<br /><br />Yes, Depp might want to give his pal Kathy Griffin a call because he might need some damage control after clearly taking full advantage of his right to free speech.<br />
