<br />John McEnroe continues to make a racket and refuses to apologize for comments he made about how Serena Williams would rank about 700th if she competed against men in tennis matches. <br /><br />Serena is considered the greatest female tennis player of all time, but McEnroe tells NPR, “If she played the men’s circuit, she’d be like 700 in the world.” <br /><br />Serena didn’t stay quiet. She Tweeted out, “Dear John, I adore and respect you but please please keep me out of your statements that are not factually based… I’ve never played anyone ranked ‘there’ nor do I have time. Respect me and my privacy as I’m trying to have a baby. Good day, sir.” <br /><br />McEnroe rallied back, telling CBS This Morning that he wouldn’t apologize because “It’s not necessary,” and he “didn’t know it would create controversy.” <br /><br />He doesn’t have an apology, but he has a solution. He tells CBS, “Why don’t you combine, just solve the problem – I’m sure the men would be all for this – the men and women play together… And then we don’t have to guess.” <br /><br />McEnroe doesn’t play tennis anymore, but he still serves heat. <br />
