<br /> <p>A woman who walked past a bomb-disposal robot in Derry shortly before a controlled explosion was reported to have been left “shaken but uninjured”.</p><p>The close encounter happened at Glengalliagh Park on July 2, during a security response to what police said turned out to be “an elaborate hoax”.</p><p>The Derry Journal said that police were advising people to “respect” security cordons in the wake of the incident.</p><p>Video recorded at the scene shows the woman walk past the robot, shortly before the explosion.</p><p>Police said they “spoke to the resident immediately after and, although she was shaken, she was uninjured.” Credit: Sean Haslett via Storyful</p><br />
