Western Montana was hit by two earthquakes, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The first earthquake came in with a 5.8 magnitude early Thursday, near the city of Lincoln. Only half an hour later, a magnitude 4.5 quake struck the same area. There were no reports of fatalities or damages.
