<p>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, took off their footwear and walked in the water during a visit to a desalination plant on the final day of Modi’s visit to Israel on July 6.</p><p>The pair also rode in a beach vehicle.</p><p>India and Israel reportedly</a> signed an agreement on desalination when Israeli President Reuven Rivlin was in India last year.</p><p>During the event on July 6, Netanyahu, Modi, and a number of others drank water that had been desalinated.</p><p>The two men also flew by helicopter to Haifa, where they visited the British cemetery in which Indian soldiers killed in World War I are buried, according to reports</a>.
