While shooting a video, artist and musician Sam Shimota managed to accidentally scare the living daylights out of two women who had the misfortune to cross his path.

Footage shared to YouTube in 2011 — but finally going viral in July 2017 — shows Shimota using a baby doll as a marionette in a deserted parking garage tunnel, as part of a music video. According to the description, he was filming in the tunnel late at night (probably in a bid to avoid all human interaction), when the women walked in.

Upon seeing the creepy — and apparently mobile — baby doll, one woman begins to scream, yelling “Go! Go!” at the top of her lungs before they flee the scene.

Shimota claims that he tried to explain what he was doing, but didn’t get the words out in time.

The video has started to gain traction after it was shared to Reddit on July 3, with many people finding Shimota’s unintentional scare hilarious.

The video had 32,848 views at the time of writing.
