<p>Wildfires raged close to mountains and forests in British Columbia over the weekend of July 8 and 9, leading to the evacuation of around 7,000 people, according to CBC News</a>.</p><p>This footage shows the flames burning along the treetop of a farm in Little Fort, a community on the west bank of the North Thompson River in British Columbia. The uploader wrote: “This community has amazed me. No one will leave yet. Volunteer fire department has been working constantly. Farmers taking it upon themselves to wet perimeters and bulldoze fire breaks.”</p><p>A portion of Little Fort west and south of Lemieux Creek was placed under evacuation order</a> on July 7 due to the blaze.</p><p>The ongoing wildfires in British Columbia were spurred on by high humidity levels, hot weather and a lack of rainfall in the province.
