Amazon is quietly gearing up to hire in-house experts to assist with Alexa and product installations. While the company has third parties offer home services, Amazon will hire their own in-house experts for their smart home devices. It'll cost you around $99 to install an Alexa-enabled thermostat. You can also snag a free 45-minute "Alexa Smart Home Consultations" with one of the firm's "geeks."
