The lawyer of a suspect charged with killing an American tourist on the Greek island of Zakynthos said his client was devastated and would plead not guilty after being charged with homicide with intent. <br /><br />Clearly, at least from what it looks like, my client did cause some bodily harm but there was no homicidal intent,” said Panayiotis Kefalinos.<br /><br />“He did not hit (the victim) on the head, and death was caused by traumatic head injury.”<br /><br />His client is one of eight charged with the same offence.<br /><br />Police say a manhunt is underway for more people suspected of being involved in the fatal assault. <br /><br />The 22-year-old American died on July 7 after an altercation in the coastal town of Laganas, famous for its bars and night clubs catering to young tourists.<br />
