Remarkable footage has emerged of fishermen nursing a large golden eagle back to health after it was attacked by another bird off the coast of Norway. <br /><br />The footage, captured on July 1 near Bliksvær, shows a fisherman taking care of the giant bird of prey as it perches on the side of the boat. <br /><br />According to the filmer, the bird was involved in a fight with another eagle, and was unable to get out of the water before it was rescued. <br /><br />"He was too heavy to fly up again and we saw that," the filmer wrote online. <br /><br />"We pulled the boat over an tried to rescue the big bird from the sea. The eagle saw the situation and decided not to resist and behaved easily," he added.<br /><br />After testing its wings, the fishermen then helped the bird onto the rocks of a nearby island, where it was allowed to dry off.
