<p>The Japanese ambassador to Iraq, Fumio Iwai</a>, has sent a message congratulating Iraqis on their forces’ victory over Islamic State in Mosul.</p><p>The ambassador honored those who sacrificed themselves to liberate the Iraqi city, and remembered civilians who experienced “brutal persecution”.</p><p>He assured that Japan would be supporting Iraqis in rebuilding their country.
