<p>Italy’s Garda Costiera carried out a medical evacuation of a sick cruise ship crewmember and posted video of the operation on July 11.</p><p>The coast guard stated that a person was airlifted by helicopter from the cruise ship after suffering a suspected case of appendicitis.</p><p>Local media reported</a> the patient was a 34-year-old German crew member, who was admitted to hospital.
