Meechie Johnson and Jalen Blackmon proved to be the top 2 point guards at the Chicago stop of the 2017 UA Next Combine Series. 40 of the top 8th graders (and 2 7th graders) from across the midwest participated in the 1-day Under Armour invitation-only event at Quest Multisport in Chicago.<br />After several hours of drill stations and information sessions, the players played 2 rounds of 5x5 games.<br />While we aren't ready to pick one PG as clear front-runner, the 2 point guards who showed the most were 5'11 Demetrius 'Meechie' Johnson (Garfield, OH) and 6'1 Jalen Blackmon (Ft Wayne, IN).<br />Some Indiana basketball fans might recognize the Blackmon name.
