William Barber and Pastor Traci Blackmon.</p><p>An estimated 50 protesters</a> were led by Barber and Blackmon to the Russell Senate Office Building, where they staged a protest outside Senator Mitch McConnell’s office. The protesters rallied against the Republicans’ Better Care Reconciliation Act, which would replace the Affordable Care Act.</p><p>Barber is the chairman of the NAACP’s Legislative Political Action Committee.
