With the second album the electronic duo Beaver & Krause took new directions from their earlier record. Jazz, blues, rock, and gospel all played their part on a record divided between studio tracks and an entire LP side cut live at San Francisco's magnificent Grace Cathedral to capture a pristine sound, featuring cameos from Mulligan and Bloomfield as well as Bud Shank and Ronnie Montrose. The album was conceived as a musical soundtrack for a non-existent film.

Paul Beaver - Moog synthesizer, Hammond organ, pipe.
Bernard L.
