<p>The World Food Program confirmed</a> its delivery of food and medical supplies to the opposition-held town of al-Houla in the northern Homs province on July 15. The aid convoy was coordinated with the International Committee of the Red Cross.</p><p>The two international aid organizations delivered approximately 35 trucks full of supplies for the largely besieged area straddling the Homs and Hama provinces.</p><p>Unconfirmed reports from SMART News Agency claim pro-regime forces fired on the convoy prior to its arrival without leading to any damages or injuries.
