How to make a Poop cake from the new Emoji Movie! With the release of the new Emoji Movie around the corner, I decided to make a cake tutorial of one of the characters, which ended up being Poop! There are actually quite a lot of older poo emoji cake tutorials on YouTube but I haven't seen any from the new movie yet, so decided it might be a cool idea to make :) What other characters do you guys want to see?<br /><br />Tools and products used in this video - <br />Emoji Poop image - <br />Plum truffle rainbow dust - <br />Orange burst rainbow dust - <br />Black magic rainbow dust - <br />Chocolate rainbow dust - <br />Chocolate fondant - <br />Texture mat - <br />Edible gloss - <br />Cake modelling tool - <br />Craft mat - <br /><br /><br />Basic Victoria sponge cake recipe - <br />Ingredients: <br />225g butter<br />225g caster sugar<br />4 eggs<br />225g self-raising flour <br />1 tsp vanilla essence<br /><br />Method:<br />Cream together the butter and sugar, then beat in the eggs and vanilla essence. Once smooth and creamy, fold in the flour.<br />Pour in to a greased cake tin and bake in the oven at 180degrees for approximately 40 minutes, until golden brown and a knife comes out clean.<br /><br />Buttercream recipe - <br />600g icing sugar, sifted<br />300g unsalted or salted butter, softened<br />optional flavouring<br />Beat the ingredients together.<br /><br />Chocolate ganache recipe - <br />- To make chocolate ganache you can simply melt chocolate with double cream in a glass bowl above a pan of boiling water ( I use the hob to heat the water, but be sure to turn this right down once the chocolate begins to melt so it doesn't burn).
