Scientists are claiming a child in South Africa has been functionally<br />cured of HIV. The 9-year-old received HIV treatment at birth. The child was placed on antiretroviral treatment for 40 weeks after being diagnosed. Dr. Avy Violari of University of Witwatersrand told CNN.
