<p>The amphitheater at the ancient Aleppo citadel hosted a concert on July 25, the first such event held in several years, local sources said.</p><p>Thousands people reportedly attended the concert at the UNESCO World Heritage site, which had been badly damaged by bombs and fighting in previous years.</p><p>Shadi Jamil, a well known singer from Aleppo, sang at the concert, which was opened by the Orthodox Scout of St. Elie</a> band.</p><p>This footage was shared by a local from Aleppo and is described as showing the concert at the citadel.
