Muslim leaders in Jerusalem say they are happy that Israel has withdrawn its additional security measures at the Al Aqsa compound and urged their followers to return to prayer.<br /><br />Israel last night took down cameras and metal gates that had been installed in the area following an attack that killed two policement on July 14.<br /><br />Metal detectors at the entrance to the compound had already been removed following anger from local muslims which had led to a two-week standoff.<br />
