<p><b> by Anthony Falco</b></p>Russian scientists at the Moscow Technological Institute have found a game-changing new use for drones: attaching a defibrillator for patients in need. The group of scientists have created a cheap and effective “air ambulance” that can be remotely piloted to a person in need of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.<p>The range of the drone, which was created in collaboration with MTI’s Aerospace Laboratory and the Russian medical equipment company Altomedika, reaches more than 30 miles.</p><p>Despite its merits, bringing this concept to market will still be a challenge.
