China's solar power plant in the shape of two giant pandas will be in fully operational by August 10th. <br /> <br />The Panda Green Energy Group's solar 'Panda Power Plant' is located in Datong City in north China's Shanxi Province, and covers an area of 247 hectares with a total installed power generation capacity of 50 megawatts. <br /> <br />The photovoltaic power plant was inaugurated on November 20, 2016, and dedicated to protecting the giant panda.
