ADNAN OKTAR: Hazrat Ali (ra) gives the following sermon from the minbar: "Those who have hadith scripts should go ahead and destroy them. For what has brought about devastation upon the people is their abandonment of the Qur'an by adhering to the hadiths narrated by scholars." There are so many hadiths reflecting how Hazrat Ali (ra) was a Qur'an-abiding Muslim and opposed to superstitions... It is this firm stance of his against superstitions that led to his martyrdom. Hazrat Ali (ra) in particular, all companions including Omar (ra), Osman (ra) were martyred due to their opposition against superstitions.
