Since the 1970s, the U.S. Navy has relied on the Harpoon missile, which has a much shorter range of up to 67 miles.</p><p>The new missiles can be launched from warships and aircraft. They are launched with targeting data, and then a satellite then guides it to its destination.</p><p>The missiles can be launched from warships and aircraft. A major upgrade to the Navy’s arsenal, the missiles can hit targets 200 miles away.
