Science teacher Jacob Strickling created a "strawberry milkshake" using water, red food colouring, cornflour and dry ice.<br /><br />In the footage he adds cornflour to water producing a non-newtonian fluid which is liquid like when poured, but behaves as a solid when punched.<br /><br />This mixture is then added to a glass containing some dry ice, the warmth of the cornflour causes the dry ice to sublimate and the rising bubbles of carbon dioxide cause a frothing effect at the surface, reminiscent of a frothy strawberry milkshake.
