<p>A Maine lobster boat crew rescued a drenched, one-eyed eagle they spotted swimming near their boat in the Atlantic Ocean on July 27, according to this report</a>.</p><p>Maine resident and fisherman John Chipman Jr</a> shared several photos and videos of the eagle. In one, it thrusts its wings through the water, propelling itself forward in an apparent breaststroke. Others show it post-rescue, dripping water while sitting on the edge of the boat. A final video shows it taking off and flying away.</p><p>Chipman Jr and the other fishermen fashioned a raft from a life preserver, plywood and rope to save haul the eagle aboard.
