These boat racers encountered a distressed bird of prey while on their weekly outing off Long Island, USA.<br /><br />After spotting the bird struggling in the water, they realised it was entangled in a plastic bag, preventing it to fly off. <br /><br />The good samaritans allowed the bird to stay on their boat until it regained energy and was dry enough to take to the air.
