<p>Three animal residents of the Oregon Zoo, in Portland, Oregon, found their own ways to keep cool on August 1, as the weather continued to get hotter.</p><p>Portland was under excessive heat warnings the first week of August. On August 1, the National Weather Service predicted</a> temperatures would exceed 109 degrees Fahrenheit.
