<p>Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta addressed the nation on Monday, August 7, ahead of Tuesday’s presidential election.</p><p>Kenyatta said he acknowledged the struggles Kenyans face but is hopeful for “brighter, happier, more prosperous and peaceful days lie ahead for all Kenyans.”</p><p>More than 180,000 police</a> were deployed across the country in the early hours of Tuesday in face of possible violence and vote rigging.</p><p>Kenyatta, 55, is seeking a second term in office.
