It is one of the highlights on the European music festival scene.<br /><br />Final preparations are being made ahead of Wednesday’s opening of the week-long Sziget festival on Obuda island in Budapest.<br /><br />Tens of thousands are pouring into the city.<br /><br />One English tourist already at the site told reporters: “This is the second year. We were here last year and we thought it would be nice to come back for the 25th anniversary.”<br /><br />There are dozens of different scenes offering music, dance and even theatre performances, with more than 80 concerts per day.<br /><br />Setting up a tent and a clothes line, one young festival-goer said: “We are making something for our clothes to dry because yesterday it rained and it was so wet.”<br /><br />Another young woman said: “We’re probably going to go and see Pink because we listened to that when we were teenagers.”<br />
