Lee will organize with several civil rights groups in New York City on August 23. Their goal is to support Kaepernick, who is currently a free-agent, and the alleged injustices he's faced in the USA. A former team member of the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick reached national recognition for refusing to stand for the national anthem.
