<p>New York City police are seeking a man who robs taxis as he rides by on a bicycle. The NYPD released video of the bicycle bandit on Tuesday, August 8, seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.</p><p>Police say the man is suspected in seven different robberies dating back to June 28 in Manhattan. The suspect in each case approaches a cab as it’s stopped, reaches inside and takes money from the driver. He then rides off on his bicycle. The amount of cash he’s stolen ranges from $7 in a July 31 incident to $200 on July 27. He hit two cabs on July 27.</p><p>Police described the suspect as a black man, standing between 5 foot 10 inches to 6 feet and weighting 200 pounds.</p><p>This video shows a robbery on July 25 in which the suspect took $78, according to police.
