<p><b> by Andrew Caringi</b></p><p>3..2..1..cover!<p>In China’s largest-ever demolition, it took 2.5 tons of explosives and 75,000 detonating fuses to clear more than a million square feet of outdated apartment buildings.</p><p>Zhengzhou is one of China’s largest industrial hubs, and hundreds of affordable housing structures were constructed during a building boom in the 1980s and 1990s.</p><p>Now, the city is trying to rebrand by rebuilding.
