With the win, the Philippines finally avenged its 2015 FIBA Asia Championship loss in Changsa, China. <br /> <br />And the one who delivered the victory in the crucial moments was Terrence Romeo, someone who was part of that 2015 Gilas team. <br /> <br />Gilas was down 87-84 with less than five minutes remaining but Romeo turned the arena into his own personal playground, burying one shot after the other in the closing moments. The ever-versatile guard scored seven straight points as he left clueless Chinese defenders in his wake. Romeo finished with a game-high 26 points, shooting 9-of-14 from the field, including five three-pointers.
