Pigs may become man's new best friend, thanks to scientists at eGenesis. They managed to raise 37 piglets free of a retrovirus that prevented pig to human transplants. The pigs are being monitored for any long-term effects. eGenesis is also working on an advanced immune compatible pig called Pig 2.0
