Judge Drops Complaint Aimed at Taylor Swift in Groping Case Brought by D.J.<br />He said David Mueller, the former host of a radio program here, offered “insufficient evidence<br />Miss Taylor Swift acted improperly when she reported an assault she truly believed happened.”<br />The judge’s ruling stopped short of saying the groping had occurred, as Ms.<br />“To be candid,” he said, “I don’t think there is evidence that she didn’t believe Mr. Mueller inappropriately touched her.”<br />Ms. Swift’s lawyer, Douglas Baldridge, had asked the judge to dismiss the case against all three defendants.<br />Ms. Melcher, who said she and Mr. Mueller remain friends, said she did not see him touch Ms.<br />Judge Martínez allowed the case to continue against two other defendants, Ms. Swift’s mother<br />and Mr. Bell, whom Mr. Mueller contends pressured the radio station KYGO to fire him from his $150,000-a-year job.
