Passenger Rides Elephant Through Flooded Nepal Street

<p>A man sporting an umbrella and riding an elephant was captured on film travelling through the flooded streets of Sauraha, Nepal, on August 14, the day after elephants helped rescue</a> hundreds of tourists from a flooded jungle safari park in the area.</p><p>The Rapti River had overflowed its banks in Sauraha, roughly 80 kilometers west of Kathmandu, leaving about 600 tourists stranded.</p><p>Indian media reported on August 15 that 91 people had been killed in the floods, and another 38 people were still missing.</p><p>Sauraha is popular with foreign tourists, mainly for rhino watching and elephant rides.
