<p>A large tree near Central Park West fell on the morning of August 15, causing minor injuries to 4 passersby.</p><p>The tree came crashing down at around 10 am local time around Central Park West and Columbus Circle.</p><p>Both the FDNY</a> and Central Park office of the NYPD</a> said they were responding to the incident on their official Twitter pages.</p><p>According to a tweet from the NYPD</a>, Central Park’s West Dr was closed to vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic at 62nd St due to the fallen tree.
