Scared 'White Supremacist' Strips Down in Charlottesville to Escape Protesters

<p>Filmmaker Cecil Hunt recorded a man as he fled from protesters and stripped down at Emancipation Park in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 12.</p><p>Hunt was at Emancipation Park filming material for his documentary on Confederate monuments when he captured the moment a man stripped out of his khaki-and-white uniform of the white nationalist group Vanguard America</a> and claimed he was only attending the rally for “fun” and was not really a white supremacist.</p><p>In an article written by Hunt for GQ</a> he stated: “Since I’m a person of color, my identity is not a uniform I can take off when I am feeling unsafe – when I’m stopped by police or when my white girlfriend and I travel through southern towns where Confederate flags billow from porches and pickup trucks.” Credit: Cecil Hunt via Storyful</p><br />
