The USS Indianapolis led a storied career before sinking to the floor of the Pacific Ocean in 1945. The son of Jimmy O`Donnell, who survived the sinking, wiped away tears as he stood before the statue of his father in downtown Indianapolis after learning the news the wreckage was found.
