<p><b> by Jeff Donlan</b></p>Biking up a wall?<p>This is the Vycle, a pedal-powered vertical transport system</a> that could be a cool alternative to stairs and elevators.</p><p>The design resembles a bicycle, and is attached to a vertical rail with counterweights helping balance the rider.</p><p>It could be used for moving from floor to floor, or in construction, to quickly scale a skyscraper.</p><p>Vycle was developed by a student at the Royal College of Art.</p><p>It’s currently a prototype.
