Who knew that Divas got down on themselves?<br /><br />Mariah Carey may appear like she's always walking on a red carpet, but apparently her inner confidence isn't always as glamorous as her apparel.<br /><br />According to the New York Post's Page Six, the singer says "I just feel like a regular human being and I deserve the same respect as anybody else. I have always had low self esteem and people do not recognize that."<br /><br />Mariah is certainly known for her more extravagant way of life, and high sets of demands.<br /><br />But she tells Page Six, "growing up different, being biracial, having the whole thing where I did not know if I fit in... That is why music became such a big part of my life, because it helped me overcome those issues."<br /><br />It might be hard to believe, but Mariah has struggled, been broke, slept on studio floors and it took time for the Butterfly to spread her wings.<br /><br />She might have low self-esteem, but Mariah really carries herself well.<br />
