Impressive footage of a lightning bolt hitting right across the street from a resident of North Port, FL, USA during a storm on July 10. <br /><br />"I was standing on my porch, filming this great action. Lightning struck my Oak Tree which is only 50 feet to my left," the filmer wrote online. <br /><br />"It smelled like camp fire even though it was pouring outside."<br /><br />"A few hours later I went up to the tree that was hit and saw a black burnt line from the top of the tree down the trunk and to the ground, all the acorns near the bottom were burnt to ash."
