Fans of Princess Diana began arriving at the gates of Kensington Palace on Tuesday to mark the 20th anniversary of her death.<br /><br />One group of admirers arrived with a cake they had prepared especially for the occasion decorated with a portrait of the Princess of Wales.<br /><br />All over the gates of Diana's London residence were cards and messages from supporters of the late princess.<br /><br />On 31 August 1997, Diana was killed in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris.
