Leonardo DiCaprio is stepping up to support the relief effort for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.<br /><br />Yep, the Oscar winner has donated 1 million dollars to the new established United Way Harvey Recovery Fund… a fund that will distribute 100 percent of donations to the victims of the flood.<br /><br />The CEO of the fund says they are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Leonardo and his foundation, and his gift represents the best in all of us.<br /><br />Dicaprio’s 1 million dollar donation represents the inaugural donation to the fund but it’s not his first time giving to a good cause.<br /><br />Back in 2004 Leo’s foundation gave money to the recovery efforts following the Haiti earthquake and Hurricane Sandy.<br />
