First question; how did you decide to write the book Global Justice or Global Revenge? What do you think the world will be like when political interest takes precedence over justice?<br /><br /> <br /><br /><br />Hans Köchler : I was observer of the United Nations at the Lockerbie trial in the Netherlands which was the biggest terrorism trial in the history of the United Kingdom and when I saw how much political influence did change, did have an impact on the decision of the judges I was so frustrated that I wanted to study myself the mechanisms of international criminal justice and I wanted to be able to make my proposals how one should do things better.
