A terrifying video has emerged from the United States of an alligator leaping out of a lake to try to bite a woman passing overhead on a zipline.<br /><br />In the clip, which was filmed in Florida, the alligator snaps its jaws horrifyingly close to the woman's feet as she speeds above the water.<br /><br />"This video was taken as a group of zipline instructors were trying out a new zip line that passed directly over an alligator pond," the filmer wrote online.<br /><br />"Needless to say, this new zipline route has never been put in service," he added.<br /><br />Although the clip was filmed in 2014, it has only just surfaced online.
