Red Square is the obligatory first stop on any trip to Moscow. This large brick square includes some of the most iconic architectural features of Moscow, including of course, St. Basil’s Cathedral, perhaps the quintessential representation of Russia. If you are standing in Red Square and facing St. Basil’s, you will notice three buildings surrounding you to your right, left, and rear.
